On Nov 14, we welcomed Tetsuya Kamijo, a JICA researcher specializing in environmental assessment. Mr. Kamijo gave two multimedia lectures: the first was a published article-based lecture on environmental impact assessment, titled “Enhancing the discussion of alternatives in EIA: using principle component analysis leads to improved public involvement”. The second lecture focused on JICA’s involvement in global environmental issues, analysis methods, and environmental assessment. The lectures were followed by a question and answer session. Mr. Kamijo also gave advice regarding career pathways.
